Hey Everyone,

Thought I'd post my dyno numbers along with a few of the other cars that dynoed too. This was on a Mustang dyno which here in Calgary reads 13% lower then a dynojet. So I've posted the mustang #'s and also converted them to approx. dynojet #'s.

My car 2002 RSX 135.2whp/124.3wtq x13% to dynojet 153whp/140.7wtq
2000 GSR 128whp/96wtq x13% to dynojet 144.6whp/108.5wtq
2000 ITR 146whp/103wtq x13% to dynojet 165whp/116.4wtq
2003 Type S 169whp/122wtq x13% to dynojet 191whp/138wtq

I was amazed to see that I pulled more power then the GSR and only 12whp less then the ITR. And my car is a torque monster compared to the GSR and ITR.

GSR has SRI, 4-1 header, exhaust
ITR was stock
Type S has CAI, IMG, DCRH, Exhaust, K-Pro
My car has CAI, IMG, TB coolant bypass, PCV filter(same idea as oil catch can), shorty header, testpipe, ground kit, exhaust, apexi s-afc2.

I was hoping for 155+whp but no big deal. I still have pulleys to install so that should put me up over 155whp.

Not too bad. I dyno'd my EP at PE Tuning in edmonton and got 184whp SAE Corrected, and down in Vancouver (Sea Level) I got 195.7whp

K20A2, UR Pulleys, Spoon N1, T1R Tespipe, DC5R B-Pipe, Type R ECU, VAFC-II, Short Ram Intake, Grounding Kit, Hondata IM Gasket.

Wasnt sure if this was the correct spot for this post but if it isnt, mods you can move it. Anyways...

When i first dynoed my car when i dyno tuned my stage 2 i was getting really good numbers. Then went i dynoed for meth and then again after that at car shows i hit low numbers. 20-30whp lower. Thought it was a coolant leak cuz i had a small leak cuz one of the hoses of the aftermarket h/e was coming loose but i fixed it and same issue. The last few times i dynoed i notice my ABS light was on. Could that cause the dyno readings to be false. ie...would it cause the wheels not to spin 100 since its trying to do its job?

Unfortunately we can't move a single post, we would have to move a whole thread. To get an answer to your question it would be better to start a new thread.

But, if I understand you correctly, I suspect the difference is that you are dyno'ing on different dyno's. There can be a big difference between dyo's, even if they are of the same type. And then when you add different days, with different environmental conditions that means even more variables.

You would think that 1hp would be 1hp. There is a clear definition of what a hp is, but dyno's read differently. They can be useful tuning tools, but comparing #'s is near to useless.
