Hondata ECUs - K20A3 to K20A2?

I got to wondering: If I had an RSX head, couldn't I send my A3 ECU to Hondata and have them reflash an A2 program? Would I be lapsing in judgement in thinking that these ECU's are similiar enough to switch programs?

Yeah, you can have Hondata flash you ECU to an A2 program.

i believe there is still some issue on some transmission sensor that cannot be picked up using the K20A3 ? However it wasnt a big deal. I dont know, i just remmeber something vaguely... search on their website, i believe they have a FAQ!

the reverse lockout solenoid in the a2 ecu will not function IF its an a3 re-flashed to "a2" ecu

go kpro ... or dont shift into reverse at high speeds ;)
