K24 Question...

If i swap my k20a3 block for for k24+a2head

will my dc sports race header still fit? its the dc5 specific header, ive been told by a few people that it wont fit, but i would like to know for sure

I don't know for certain, but I believe it should still fit. The K24 block is only 19.7mm taller than the K20 block and I believe you can find enough wiggle room in the exhaust system to make it work.

it wont fit, you need a custom header made, I don't remember the combo to use but you may want to ask your local performance shop that knows hondas.

ive checked around and done some research

either new custom mounts must be made, or the race header must be cut and modified so as to give ~25mm worth of extra clearance....

well ill let you guys know whats up, i hope to have this together by this summer

shoot, i bought your motor and when i blew my motor my shorty header was charred pretty badly so i was going to buy a race header like today, now youre saying it wont fit, im bummed.

oh and i have an 02 sedan, would that make a difference
