question about valve clearance on the A3!

question to all my k-series peoples...

does anybody know the measurement for the k20A3 motor's intake and exhaust clearance for a valve adjustment? it was said on "temple of vtec" that the A3 motor valve measurements can be adjusted to the same as the A2 where its 8 on the intake side and 10 on the exhaust... CAN ANYONE CONFIRM THIS TO BE CORRECT?? anybody who has insight or can lead me in the right direction, please help a brotha out... 8)

according to the RSX service manual:

K20A3 --
intake: 0.21 - 0.25 mm (0.008 - 0.010")
exhaust: 0.28 - 0.32 mm (0.011 - 0.013")

K20A2 --
intake: 0.21 - 0.25 mm (0.008 - 0.010")
exhaust: 0.25 - 0.29 mm (0.010 - 0.011")

I'll doublecheck this against the EP3 service manual in a sec but it should be the same.

confirmed, the EP3 FSM lists the same specs for the K20A3.

thanks bro!!! i also found out it was listed on the bottow off our hood, on the label... it states the exact clearance measurement for our cars!! sneaky honda!!!! lol... thanks for the numbers tho bro!! i love this board! :love:
