Hello all. First time post. but I've been really active on gen7accord and also v6p. Anyways, for all you auto accord people I'm going to be doing a mild build.

From gen7accord

As some of you know I am on a quest for power on a platform that is expensive and troublesome to mod. Because of the automatic transmission (and my unwillingness to lose the auto), I am stuck with only minor modifications and bolt-ons. With the advent of Hondata Kpro for automatics (brought to you by cstyleaccord), many of the mods reserved for k20a's and the MT folks have become available for automatics (yay!) With this small build I am shooting for 200-210 whp. Given we start with 130 whp thats a roughly 60% boost in HP. The install will be on friday and the tune on monday. I'll keep all of you guys posted on results and maybe have a video of the dyno. I hope this can bring some ideas to those people who dont want to do FI yet want more power than simple bolt-ons.

1) Kpro with cham custom harness!

2) JDM Red k20a Valve Cover (Engine Bling baby!)
3) RDX Injectors + toyota clips

4) Hondata Gasket (ebay sent me the wrong one)
5) BC Stage 2 NA Cams
6) CRV Head
7) BC Dished and swirled stock size valves
8) Cometic Head gasket (Does this do anything)

Would like some input from all the knowledgeable people on this forum. I think I would be a little short with just cams, injectors, kpro, and the gasket. Thanks and stay tuned!

Edit: I'll try to install Kpro tomorrow to see if its compatible with the automatic. I hope it is!

Not an unreasonable goal power wise. What are you doing to beef up the autobox? Also, I don't know that K-Pro is really compatible with a slushbox, but that shouldn't matter that much unless you're doing fuel/timing/boost-by-gear. Other than that, dyno tuning without a manual mode is a PITA, but do-able. Just be prepared to be on the dyno a WHILE (Read: $$, food, pillow, rent payment!) Best of luck, and let us know how it goes! Cheers- Mark W.

if the guy that built your custom harness is the same guy i'm thinking of, supposedly he's working on a harness for TSX's.

would be sweet if something...anything , came out for the 07+ TSX's. granted, i have an AT, but i'd love to at least have a reflash. good luck with your endeavors.

I hope your build goes as smoothly as possible with very few issues.

I'd be glad when there a PNP K-Pro for the 2k6+ Accords with the K24A8's that have the DBW throttle body. I feel sure that one could be cobbled up, but I don't like cutting into a perfectly good harness.

If there's one out there .... please let me know!

Thought I just chime in and say kpro works 100% now. I met doug from hondata and he was telling me how he has a prototype harness that may or may not be released that may work with DBW. Lots of "mays" i guess. I gained 30+ whp from stock on a dynapack so that translates to something like 20 or so i guess on a jet. This is not with the cams and such. Only a basic tune and boltons!
Here's the Dyno and video

holy cow, that's awesome! so would the prototype for AT with DBW be used strictly for accords, or would it be expanded to other models? like the the AT TSX ;)

Alot of these parts are going on sale if anyone is interested. Once I get the FS forum sorted out I'll post in there.
